On Friday, <strong>August 2 <\/strong>, at<strong> 9:30 p.<\/strong>m., in the beautiful setting of the Cloister of San Francesco, <strong>the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) Choir<\/strong> of Lanciano <strong>will perform<\/strong> a brilliant and sophisticated <strong>repertoire<\/strong> between<strong>classic Alpine songs<\/strong> and <strong>Abruzzo and Italian folkloric culture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>CAI Choir was founded in 2008<\/strong> at the behest of the Italian Alpine Club section of Lanciano and <em>is composed of twenty-five elements<\/em>, mostly male, enhanced by <em>female voices<\/em> that create perfect harmony.<\/p>\n<p>It is conducted by Maestro Nicola Gaeta. The choir has performed in numerous concerts and choral festivals, from Lanciano to L&#8217;Aquila, Teramo, Rome, Sondrio, Frosinone, Leonessa and Frosolone. It organizes the annual choral festival &#8220;Let&#8217;s Sing Christmas in Choir,&#8221; hosting important Italian choral groups in the city of Lanciano.
