The projects in the Molise region<\/strong> funded as part of the\u201cBici in Comune\u201d<\/strong>initiative\u2014promoted by the Minister of Sports and Youth, with the support of the Department of Sports, through Sport e Salute and the National Association of Italian Municipalities\u2014were presented<\/strong> in the Provincial Council Chamber of the Province of Isernia.<\/p>\n The National Call for Proposals provided for the funding for initiatives to promote cycling<\/strong><\/em>, with cycling viewed as a means to a healthy and active lifestyle, as well as projects to upgrade or expand bike paths<\/strong><\/em>, as well as initiatives to promote cycling tourism, enhance the local area, and engage schools.<\/p>\n Speaking before the mayors of the lead municipalities receiving the funding and the partner municipalities, Angelo Campofredano, Regional Coordinator for Sport and Health in Molise, emphasized that this is \u201cA wonderful opportunity to share and give back to the community the results of a meticulous and ambitious project in which Molise played a leading role, with as many as five municipalities receiving funding.
