June 27, 2026 \u201cExploring Atene del Sannio by Bike\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 June 28, 2026 XCO Mountain Bike Race in Atene del Sannio<\/strong><\/p>\n The Municipality of Agnone will organize two sporting and cultural events in conjunction with the Atene del Sannio MTB Granfondo<\/strong>. The first event,\u201cCycling to Discover the Atene del Sannio<\/strong>,\u201d<\/strong>scheduled for June 27<\/strong>, will be a recreational cycling tour aimed at children and families. The second,\u201cXCO Atene del Sannio<\/strong>,\u201d a competitive race, will take place on June 28<\/strong> and will involve about 100 cyclists on a 40-km course that is part of the \u201cSulle Orme dei Sanniti\u201d circuit. <\/p>\n Both events are part of the “BICI IN COMUNE<\/strong>” project and aim to promote the local area through physical activity<\/strong><\/em>and the discovery of the natural heritage<\/strong><\/em> , and the showcasing the region\u2019s culinary and wine specialties<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n On June 28 in Agnone, along the trails surrounding the small promontory known as Monte Calvario, the \u201cAtene del Sannio\u201d XCO mountain bike race will take place.
