Routes No. 7, Sant’Angelo del Pesco – Castel del Giudice, and No. 9, Poggio Sannita – Castelverrino, are currently impassable due to the very lush vegetation that prevents travel along large sections.
Other routes: No. 2 POGGIO SANNITA – BELMONTE DEL SANNIO, No. 3 BELMONTE DEL SANNIO – AGNONE, No. 6 PESCOPENNATARO – SANT’ANGELO DEL PESCO, No. 8 CASTEL DEL GIUDICE – CAPRACOTTA, are passable but in some sections, the lush vegetation requires small detours from the original route.
The works of maintenance and restoration will require time and effort on the part of the municipalities a9> municipalities through which it passes.
We hope that in spring, with the necessary work of restoration, these itineraries can return to being accessible to everyone.
